The countries are chosen based on the particular interest they hold in terms of investment and marketing for the businessmen and women in attendance.<\/p>\n<p>The programme was launched in the 1997\/1998 academic year. Today it continues with the support and collaboration of both the Diplomatic School of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation.<\/p>\n<p>The meetings with the ambassadors are organised in two parts: the first, held in the early afternoon, consists of a discussion between the attendees and the ambassador; in the second, the dialogue continues over lunch at the CEI International Affairs headquarters.
