color: #60b74e;\">Why do I choose a career in Sustainable Development?&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span title=\"\">The <strong>United Nations<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.un.org\/sustainabledevelopment\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">17 Sustainable Development Goals<\/a> (SDGs), unanimously approved at its General Assembly in September 2015, are a milestone because, for the first time in its history, all the states of the world share the same project, based on five<\/span> <span title=\"\">pillars: <strong>Peace, People, Planet, Prosperity and Partnership.<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><br \/><strong><span title=\"\">The 2030 Agenda establishes common criteria to address global problems, such as the crisis caused by COVID-19.<\/span><\/strong> <span title=\"\">Societies determine their future with the solutions they adopt at critical moments, and history teaches us that it is possible to progress from a crisis situation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"YouTube video player\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MNPwNs3sbwU\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><br \/><span title=\"\"><strong>We appeal to the same principles that inspire the SDGs to solve the health crisis<\/strong>.<\/span> <span class=\"\" title=\"\">Similarly, the lessons and many of the innovations, both technological and social, necessary to overcome the pandemic will help us achieve the SDGs.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Master\u2019s Degree in Sustainable Development<\/strong> (awarded by the <a href=\"en\/general-information-msd\">University of Barcelona<\/a>) aims to equip students with a thorough understanding of the <strong>2030 Agenda<\/strong> and, especially, to help the various stakeholders responsible for <strong>implementing it.<\/strong> To this end, the programme takes an <strong>interdisciplinary approach<\/strong> intended to integrate and weight the economic, social and environmental dimensions of sustainable development.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><span class=\"\" title=\"\">Moreover, t<\/span><\/span><span class=\"\" style=\"background-color: inherit; color: inherit; font-family: inherit; font-size: 1rem;\" title=\"\">his Master will also address the global crisis, health, and diplomatic caused by <strong>COVID-19<\/strong>, addressing the<strong> impact of the pandemic in the different areas of analysis<\/strong> to facilitate students&#8217;
