Debates on the slowdown in world trade and the economy, with a special impact on Europe, take place in an environment of special complexity, with medium and long-term dynamics that are giving way to a profound reconfiguration of the world order. In these situations, the interactions between economic issues and business strategies with far-reaching dimensions come to the fore, among which the depth (and speed) of technological changes and geopolitical tensions – including the struggle for world leadership – occupy Featured positions. The social and political frictions derived from the ways in which the “dividends” of wealth creation are being distributed – both internationally and within the countries – are accentuated by the concerns and misgivings generated by this constellation of changes.<\/p>\n
