The 15th edition of the Course on Current Issues in Spanish Foreign Policy aims to offer an overview of the various dimensions of Spanish foreign policy from both an academic and practical perspective, paying particular attention to the external action of those regions, or autonomous communities, that, within the decentralised context of the Spanish state, pursue international actions.
Following an inaugural conference, the course will follow a dynamic structure based on roundtable discussions open to participation by academics, diplomats and journalists, as well as the audience in general. Spanish foreign policy will be explored from both a geographical perspective (Europe, the Mediterranean, Latin America and Asia) and a sectoral one (economic relations, development cooperation and security), without ever losing sight of current policy or the general guidelines that will shape the country’s foreign policy agenda in the coming years.
Professionals, students and recent graduates interested in learning about the current state of Spanish foreign policy from a regional, multilateral and sectoral perspective.
