Meeetings with ambassadors

These meetings with Spain’s ambassadors abroad and other countries’ accredited ambassadors in Spain are intended to offer a detailed overview of the political, economic and legal situation of the featured country. The countries are chosen based on the particular interest they hold in terms of investment and marketing for the businessmen and women in attendance.

The programme was launched in the 1997/1998 academic year. Today it continues with the support and collaboration of both the Diplomatic School of the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation and the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Navigation.

The meetings with the ambassadors are organised in two parts: the first, held in the early afternoon, consists of a discussion between the attendees and the ambassador; in the second, the dialogue continues over lunch at the CEI International Affairs headquarters. The maximum number of participants is 22, and priority is given to representatives of CEI International Affairs partner companies.

Within the framework of the International Classroom programme, meetings are also held with other figures from the political and business worlds, including former presidents and senior executives.
