The Preparation to Join the Diplomatic Corps offered by CEI International Affairs is divided into two distinct parts:
- An initial course with two different options: The Standard option and the Academic option (to be chosen by the student according to their case and / or profile).
- Follow-up courses (which students may repeat as many times as needed).
Initial course
Academic option
It’s the recommended itinerary for those who start to prepare de opposition to Join the Diplomatic Corps and for those who come from studies not related to those treated in the opposition. The Academic option can only be done in the face to face modality of the course. It includes:
- Preparation Pack: Includes the content for the preparation of the exercises of the Examination.
- Training in oral communication techniques. Access to sessions offered by an expert professor in the subject.
Standard option
The Professional option is planned for students who have already started to compete in the examination to join the Diplomatic Corps, or for those who come from opposition-related studies. It includes:
- Preparation Pack: Includes the content for the preparation of the exercises of the Diplomatic Corps Examination.
Follow-up courses
The students of both itineraries converge in the follow-up courses. The follow-up course includes:
- Preparation Pack: Includes the content for the preparation of the exercises of the Diplomatic Corps Examination.
- Possibility of Professional Internships. From the 2012-2013 academic year, students are given the opportunity to do an internship at Embassies and Consulates of Spain, after passing the selection of your candidature by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation. It is an optional module, open to students already enrolled in the Preparation to Join the Diplomatic Corps.
