LOGISTICS, INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS AND EMERGING MARKETS INTERNSHIP (15 credits)
The aim of this internship is to integrate the acquired knowledge, and it should thus focus on either a country of particular professional interest and/or an aspect studied in the course that the student would like to learn more about.
The final research project for the master’s programme is an academic paper offering an overview of a topic, to have a maximum length of 100 pages. Students will need to review and explore in depth a specific topic discussed during the programme, incorporating original research. The original research should account for at least one third of the total paper. In other words, the descriptive portion offering an appropriately structured review of the relevant literature with a view to providing a framework for the original research must never account for more than two thirds of the paper.
The final research project may be substituted by a professional internship or work experience related to the topics examined in the programme. In such cases, the programme directors will assess whether the alternative plan is suitable in terms of the activities performed and the required hours.
