WHAT WILL YOU GET?

You will know in depth all the Sustainable Development Goals and the 2030 Agenda, which will prepare you to have the knowledge necessary to make an effective transition to sustainability, enabling you to respond urgently and effectively to the challenge of climate change.

WHAT TOPICS WILL YOU SPECIALIZE IN?

The academic program of the Master in Sustainable Development will cover the 17 SDGs and the current COVID 19 global crisis: 

• Sustainable Development Economy

• Inclusive Sustainable Development and the SDGs

• Sustainable development and climate change

For this we will have highly qualified teachers, from the academic field (both social and natural sciences) and from the business field, with the best experts in the sector.

CAREER OPORTUNITIES AND INTERNSHIPS:

Our objective is to adapt to your profile, so you get the best performance. Whether you are a recent graduate, or already working in the Sustainable Development sector we have the best itinerary for you:

	Recent graduates will have the opportunity to complete an external curricular internship at a company or institution. The internship must be related to the content covered in the programme and will have an expected duration of 4 to 6 months (24 ECTS credits).
	Students from the professional world will have to complete a project that can be implemented at a company or institution.

WHAT KIND OF JOB POSITIONS WILL YOU HAVE ACCESS TO?

By completing the Master’s degree in Sustainable Development (blended learning), among others, you will be able to develop your career in:

• Civil servant positions at government bodies or agencies with direct responsibility for any aspect of the 2030 Agenda or SDGs (e.g. the Catalan government, provincial governments, town councils).

• Officer at a non-governmental organization in the field of development cooperation, the environment or the protection of human rights.

• Sustainability manager at a national or international company.

DEGREE:

It is an Institution-specific Master’s degree in Sustainable Development (blended learning), which will start in September 2020 (course 2020-2021), awarded by the University of Barcelona, managed by the CEI International Affairs, affiliated centre to the UB.
