This week, CEI International Affairs had the honor of hosting Ms. Inmaculada Riera i Reñé, the Director General of the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, as part of the Aula Internacional program, an activity designed for members of our Executive Club.
The visit began with a tour of the CEI International Affairs facilities, accompanied by the center’s director, Mr. Joaquim Llimona. During this tour, Ms. Riera had the opportunity to learn about the mission and the programs that CEI undertakes in the fields of diplomacy, international relations, and sustainability.
Following the tour, the attendees gathered to listen to Ms. Riera speak about internationalization as a driver for transforming Spanish companies. She emphasized that in times of crisis, internationalization has been crucial for economic recovery. Additionally, Ms. Riera highlighted the need to strengthen internationalization efforts by diversifying markets and pointed out that, despite its complexity, the Mediterranean offers valuable economic, social, and political opportunities.
After the lecture, the attendees enjoyed a lunch that facilitated further debate and networking, providing a space to share experiences and concerns.
