As part of the Headcet Erasmus+ project, coordinated by the University of Florence and aimed at strengthening higher education institutions in Argentina, Paraguay and Chile in the fields of sustainability, circular economy and social innovation, Dr. Andrea Noferini, Academic Director of the CEI’s Diplomatic Career preparation program and professor at Pompeu Fabra University, took part last week in the project’s final conference, held in Asunción, Paraguay.
The meeting brought together international experts from the social, economic and environmental fields, who shared the main results and achievements reached during the implementation of the project. In addition, a space for debate was opened on the challenges faced by higher education institutions in the region, with the goal of strengthening their capacities in sustainable development through the promotion of circular economy and social innovation.
We especially thank the presence of the Ambassador of Spain to Paraguay, Mr. Javier Parrondo, former CEI trainer for diplomatic exam candidates, who accompanied the conference and contributed to the academic and institutional dialogue.
A much-needed conference to discuss sustainability, social innovation and local development.
