International Diplomatic Negotiation Simulation
During the months of March and April, students of the Master’s Degree in Diplomacy and International Organizations (official degree from the University of Barcelona) took part in an international diplomatic negotiation simulation as part of their classes.
The activity, designed around a scenario linked to the main current global challenges and threats, allowed students to take on the role of different international actors. Most of them represented state delegations, although some also acted as non-state actors, providing a more comprehensive and realistic view of international dynamics.

Over the course of three intensive sessions, they faced different situations that required responsiveness, decision-making, and, above all, diplomatic strategy. This activity also served as an assessment tool, taking into account aspects such as engagement, the quality of interventions, teamwork coordination, and negotiation skills.
At CEI, we remain committed to an educational approach that integrates theory and practice, bringing students closer to the professional reality of the international field.
