International Aula with FemCAT President Tatxo Benet
In a new session of the CEI International Classroom, an exclusive space for members of the Executive Club, we welcomed Tatxo Benet, President of the Fundació d’Empresaris de Catalunya (FemCAT).
The session focused on the internationalization of companies and the strategic role played by collaboration between the public and private sectors.
Business internationalization and economic diplomacy
During the meeting, it was highlighted that when diplomatic relations between states weaken, connections between companies, universities, and territorial entities become even more important.
In this sense, the role of FemCAT was emphasized as a platform for business cooperation, where companies share experience and knowledge to foster the internationalization of Catalonia’s productive ecosystem.

International economic relations
Another key point of the session was the need to institutionalize international economic relations to prevent them from depending excessively on personal or circumstantial factors.
Greater institutionalization would help ensure continuity in business support strategies and avoid interpretations of such collaborations as discretionary practices, thereby fostering greater transparency and efficiency.
A space for strategic reflection
At CEI, we promote these spaces for reflection on leadership, internationalization, and collaboration between the public and private sectors in order to address current challenges with a global and coordinated perspective.
