Claudia Manrique Carpio is an associate professor of Public International Law and European Union Law at the University of Barcelona, specialising in International Economic Law. She is currently a visiting researcher at the University of Birmingham and a member and national correspondent of the CELIS Institute in Berlin.
She was recently a postdoctoral researcher at King’s College London, a visiting fellow at the Lauterpacht Centre at University of Cambridge, and an associate researcher with the Human Rights and Environment Research Group (BHRE) at University of Greenwich.
She has participated in academic and research activities at HEI Institut Universitaire de Hautes Études Internationales in Geneva, Newcastle University in the United Kingdom, University of Alberta in Canada, and the Catholic University of Santa María in Peru, and has conducted consulting and research with international organisations such as WTO, UNCTAD, WHO, and UN-UNOG, among others.
