On August 27th, the Council of Ministers appointed Mr. Luis Cuesta Civís as the new Ambassador of Spain to Sweden. Until then, he held the position of Undersecretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain. Additionally, as president of the CEI International Affairs Foundation’s Board of Trustees, his commitment has been outstanding throughout the years. From CEI, we wish him the greatest success in this new diplomatic chapter.
Meanwhile, the position of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation has been taken over by another CEI Alumni, Xavier Martí. After his distinguished work as Director General of Spaniards Abroad and Consular Affairs, he now assumes the presidency of the CEI Foundation’s Board of Trustees.
