Aula Internacional with the Ambassador of Spain to Mexico

This morning, 2026 was inaugurated at the CEI with a new session of Aula Internacional, the program aimed at members of CEI’s Executive Club, which featured the presence of the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of Spain to Mexico, H.E. Mr. Juan Duarte Cuadrado. The session, presented and moderated by the Director of the CEI, Mr. Joaquim Llimona, provided an opportunity to analyze emerging opportunities in Mexico, as well as the historical, cultural, and strategic ties that unite both countries.

During the meeting, the Ambassador highlighted the deep historical and cultural relationship between Spain and Mexico. He also underscored the economic potential of the Mexican State, which ranks as the second-largest economy in Latin America, and emphasized the importance of investing in the country, considering its broad and diversified domestic market and its role as a platform for expansion in Ibero-America.

Today’s session reaffirms the CEI’s commitment to fostering collaboration and dialogue among companies, institutions, and diplomatic representatives, thereby strengthening bilateral ties and opportunities for cooperation in strategic sectors.
