Programme

The Master’s programme is divided into two parts: an academic training period and an internship.

 

Academic training (36 ECTS credits)

The Master’s Final Project is worth 6 ECTS credits.

Teaching plan for the 2022-2023 academic year. 

 

 

Compulsory internship period (18 ECTS credits)

(Duration: 3-4 months)

Students of the master’s programme must complete an internship period lasting 4-6 months at an international institution or organisation. CEI International Affairs facilitates the internships with several partner institutions and promotes other relevant internships for students. In both cases, the candidates will need to go through the host institution’s internal selection process. The costs of the internship will be borne by the student.

 

 

Compulsory training supplements (6 ECTS credits)

 

The specific entry profile is for graduates in Law, Economics and Business Administration, International Relations, Political and Administrative Sciences, Global Studies, Sociology, History, Philosophy, Translation and Interpretation, Philology, or other degrees from the branch of the Social Sciences with a similar profile.

 

The Master offers 6 ECTS of compulsory training supplements for students who do not come from the indicated degrees. These are:

 

  • Introduction to public international law and international organizations (2 ECTS)

 

  • Introduction to international relations and international politics (2 ECTS)

 

  • Introduction to economics and international trade (2 ECTS)

 

These credits will be taught the 2 weeks prior to the start of the Master, this being an intensive face-to-face course of 5 hours a day at the CEI, supplemented with the necessary hours of personal work and tutorials.
