Human Rights, Environment and Sustainable Food

Ana G. Juanatey holds a PhD and has two recognized teaching periods (trienios) along with 12 years of teaching and research experience. She graduated in Political Science and Administration from the Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, holds a Master’s degree in International Relations from the Institut Barcelona d’Estudis Internacionals, and earned her PhD in Law from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra. She is accredited as a Profesora Contratada Doctora by ANECA and as a Lectora lecturer by AQU Catalunya.

Since 2019, she has been a professor at the CEI International Affairs, where she serves as director of the Master’s in Sustainability: Environment, Society and Economy. Her research focuses on international law and international relations.

She has received the Xoán Vicente Viqueira Award for Scientific Innovation and has been a visiting researcher at the Organización de las Naciones Unidas para la Alimentación y la Agricultura and at several universities. She has also worked as a consultant for World Bank and Barcelona City Council.
