Entry requirements

The master's program has 25 available slots for the 2026-2027 academic year.

  • An undergraduate degree.

    *Students without an undergraduate degree may be admitted to the program, with their work experience being taken into account, and they will receive an advanced university diploma upon completion of the master’s program.

    • Special interest in sustainability.
    • Availability to attend in-person classes.

Application and Enrollment

Pre-registration open until 15 July 2026.

The application and pre-enrollment will be done through CEI’s Virtual Admissions Systems accessible through the PRE-ENROLLMENT button located below.

At CEI’s Virtual Admissions Systems you will need to upload the following documents:

  • Identity card (DNI for Spanish nationals/NIE/Passport).

  • Certified photocopy of the degree certificate or a certified photocopy of the corresponding substitute certificate, or one with a secure verification code or QR code.

  • Certified photocopy of the academic transcript, or one with a secure verification code or QR code.

  • Passport-sized photograph.

  • Curriculum Vitae.

  • Letter of motivation.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Students who have studied at a foreign university must legalize their documents. For more information, please visit the following link: University of Barcelona de Barcelona (ub.edu).

Upon formalising the place reservation by making the first payment, the student will receive an automatic email confirming their admission to the master’s degree programme.

The amount paid to reserve a place is considered a deposit towards the tuition fees and is non-refundable.

It will take place on 22 September 2026.
A few days before this date, you will receive an email with instructions on the procedures required to make it effective.

IMPORTANT: Admitted students who have studied at a foreign university must legalize their academic documentation with the Hague Apostille and submit it on 22 September. The information is available at the following link.

It is essential that on 22 September you submit, in paper format, the original and a photocopy of your identity document, the original document of the final degree transcript, and the original degree certificate or, failing that, a certified copy or one bearing a verification code or QR code of the receipt for payment of the degree issuance fees.

The inaugural session along with the effective enrollment for the master’s program will take place on September 22th 2026.

Students will receive an email at the address provided at CEI’s Virtual Admissions Systems with details of the inaugural session.

Services Associated with Enrollment

The University of Barcelona card allows you to access in-person consultation of the bibliographic resources at the 16 libraries of CRAI UB. It also allows you to request the resources you need through the Interlibrary Loan Service.
