Didac Amat is a professor of Public International Law and research director at the Centre for International Studies (CEI Bcn). Amat is a lawyer and political scientist specialising in climate change, sustainability, global governance issues and international law. In recent years, he has undertaken research stays at the University of Cambridge (2025) and the University of Pretoria (2023), where he worked under the supervision of Dr Dire Tladi, currently a judge at the International Court of Justice. He has also undertaken other academic and professional stays in Hong Kong, Greece and Peru.
